Nice work. Here are some supplementus minus:

3. What is the relationship of the umbilical vein to #2 above
- The ligamentum teres is the obliterated or remnant of the LEFT umbilical vein

10. Define the fetal circulation - and give the adult representatives - through the liver.
- Umbilical vein(ligamentum teres) from mother courses through the liver leaving half of the blood there and the other half of the blood bypasses the liver and goes through the ductus venosus(ligamentum venosus) which joins the inferior vena cava finally ending up on the right atrium. Blood now travels through the foramen ovale ( fossa ovalis ) to the left atrium. From the ventricles then the blood flows to the body. It bypasses the lungs by going through the ductus arteriosus( ligamentum arteriosus) which connects the pulmonary trunk to the aortic arch.

FROM LEFT UMBILICAL VEIN: blood passes to IVC via THREE different routes through and around the liver
- some blood enters the liver directly and then reaches the IVC by the hepatic veins
- the majority circulates through the liver with the portal venous blood, then reaches the IVC via the hepatic veins
- the remainder bypasses the liver and passes to the IVC by the ductus venosus
