I think there is an error in the study guide for chapter 13, question 5. The question states:
"Incomplete division of the metanephric diverticulum (uretetric bud) results in:
C. duplication of the ureter"
Judging by Figure 13-9 B and C, as well as the clinical box "Duplications of Urinary Tract" on page 169, I think the answer should be "A. bifid ureter" or at least both answers should be accepted.
Wouldn't it make more sense if duplication of the ureter is more often associated with complete division of the metanephric diverticulum? (this would also mean that the explanation for the answer in the study guide is wrong).
