"articular capsule"

I am looking at my notes for the knee joint and and saw that we labeled a structure called the "Articular Meniscus."
It is on the medial side of the knee joint, intrasynovial, intracapsular, and does not appear to be the medial meniscus. If anyone knows what this is, we would like some help.
