Hey Guys,

During my lecture, I had said that the abductor pollicis longus aids in extension of the MCP joint but as we know the abductor pollicis longus inserts into the base of the MCP joint therefore cannot act on this joint. What I meant to say was the Carpometacarpal joint.

I also wanted to stress that the interossei and lumbricals insert into the dorsal hood along with the other muscles we listed in class. Thank you.

Have a good night!

Sarah
