Does anyone have a good review of WHERE muscular motor branches originate from their preceding nerve?

I'm having a hard time answering questions such as "A lesion of the radial nerve at the spiral groove would cause loss of extension at the elbow" because I don't know if triceps branches originate proximal or distal to the groove.
