  1. Discuss the boundaries, contents, and relationships in the anterior compartment of leg; include muscles, nerves, vasculature, and fascial specializations. Indicate the function of the anterior compartment of the leg, and define the effects of injury to this comparatment on the actions and sensitivity of the foot. Explain the weak pulse of the dorsalis pedis artery in the case of compartment syndrome. Using your anatomical knowledge, what can you recommend for treatment? (12 pts)

  2. Review the anatomy of the knee joint and include bones, articulations, ligaments, cavities and bursa, vasculature, muscles, fascial specializations, and stability of the joint. Explain the tenderness on the medial side of the knee, and the abnormal forward movement of the tibia in relationship to the femur. (12 pts)
